ABOUT PRASHANTH

Prashanth currently serves as Director of Transmission and Interconnection with 14 years of experience across the transmission planning, power system consulting, and energy storage/renewables sectors.

Prior to joining Black Mountain, Prashanth worked at SB Energy as Sr. Manager of Transmission & interconnection where he was responsible for performing transmission & interconnection due diligence through the M&A of +1GW of solar and storage projects. Prashanth also spent 6 years working with DNV GL where he was responsible for business development and led a team of engineers consulting with renewable developers on their projects’ interconnection processes across various ISO/RTO regions.

Prashanth earned his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
